Message from our Headmaster 11th December 2020-Thai

Dear All,

As we come to the end of 2020 and the first term of the school year, we are all ready for a break. We need time to sit back, reflect, and be grateful. For many people around the world, this year has been a time of upheaval; twelve months ago we were unaware that many things we take for granted would change beyond recognition. Back then we could stroll through markets, meet friends and eat in restaurants as we always had done, unaware of what “social distancing” or “New Normal” meant, but now these phrases, along with wearing masks are part of our everyday lives. The way that society has adapted so quickly to these changes gives me hope for the future, we are resilient and can solve complex problems; the rapid pace of vaccine development shows what can be achieved when we work together.

Ascot is an incredible community of talented and resilient individuals who have achieved great things over the years and will continue to do so in the coming years. As a community of learners, we take risks each day in order to learn new skills, we reflect, we communicate and we care. Thank you for your support and understanding this year.

I hope the New Year is a prosperous and peaceful one for everyone in the Ascot Family. Have a safe and relaxing holiday.
