I hope you are all well rested and ready for the new academic year; last year was the most unusual one for schools all over the world and I hope that this year is calmer.
Our academic team has been in school since Monday 17th August preparing for the school to open next week. There is an atmosphere of optimism and excitement at seeing our students again. We are following all the guidelines provided by the Ministry of Education and have added some further measures, which we have shared with you all.
We need to keep the number of people in school to a minimum and respectfully ask parents to use the drop off points for delivering and collecting students rather than coming into school. We understand that this is not possible for students in the Early Years building (Nursery, Kindergarten and Reception classes) and for new students but would like you to be in the school for the shortest time as possible in order to ensure the safety of all.
Whole school events and ECAs are cancelled for the first half term but we do hope they will resume after the mid term break in October. We will keep you informed of any developments.
The COIVID 19 situation has affected the manufacture and delivery of uniforms but we hope that this will be resolved by the end of September.
The school has a new catering company, PREMIER CHEF, providing snacks and lunches starting from next week. The chef and his team will work closely with the food committee to ensure that the food is of the highest quality.
There has been news regarding a Songkran replacement holiday on Friday 4th and Monday 7th September, please note that the school will not be closing for this holiday.
We thank you for your support throughout the troubling times last year and look forward to calmer times ahead.
