In the wake of yesterday’s announcement by the Thai Government for all schools to close from 18 March until further notice, Ascot International School has quickly sprung into action. The school has been well prepared for this scenario, with all faculty working tirelessly to ensure that there will be no interruption to the students’ learning experience. Parents have been kept informed throughout the preparation process to facilitate the transition to online learning for all students beginning this morning.
The school day started as usual, with teachers communicating with students via e-learning platforms such as Seesaw for Primary Years and Google Classroom for Secondary Years. Ascot’s full portfolio of web based educational tools allows for classmates to interact with each other and their teachers in real-time throughout the school day, helping to maintain a healthy level of social interaction during this unprecedented time of physical isolation.
