I truly believe that to live a fulfilled life, we need to seek new adventures, try new things, find purpose and satisfaction. Fulfillment is not necessarily about happiness. In a word, fulfillment is about being fully alive and embracing all life has to offer. This is certainly what I remind myself each day when life feels like each week is more busy that the last. We have had the most fulfilling few weeks back at school and this is wonderful.
As I sit to write this edition of Jod Mai Khao, I can not believe that it is almost the end of Term 1 and we have all been learning and working together for almost 10 weeks. Life in a school is always busy, however, the old saying is true, that times moves even faster when you are having fun. Something I am so proud of at Ascot is that not only are our children having fun but they are also learning too.
The year started with our Community Picnic which was such a wonderful time for us all to come together, and enjoy having fun. Seeing our alumni, families, students and staff
members together, in person celebrating the start of a school year, filled my heart and reminded me of what is wonderful about being a part of a school.
