AFA Ascot football Academy
Established 2010
Ascot Football Academy (AFA) Bangkok was founded in 2010 with the intention to provide a professionally organised and structured football training environment for boys and girls between 5 and 17 years of age. The coaching sessions and activities the academy offers are aimed at all skill levels. At the heart of the AFA is the core concept of professionalism. The football academy was founded by professional football coaches who have real world experiences. These experiences and skill sets translates in to the successes of the Ascot Football Academy, which is why Ascot Football Academy is widely recognized as offering the top football training programmes in Bangkok and throughout Thailand.
What started as an offering for mainly Ascot students have expanded to include students from various international schools, bilingual schools as well as public schools. Now, Ascot Football Academy has approximately 120 members who form formidable teams and rank highly in several leagues (as proven by the number of trophies in Coach Filipe’s office). Not only does AFA provide excellent pathways for young people to learn new skills, become more confident and maximise their own potential, participation in AFA also encourages diversity and breaks the barrier between students from various backgrounds and differences, uniting them under one team.
Through participation in AFA our students have fun, learn and develop life skills. They also make new friends and experience life in a way that will enhance their personal growth as they progress into adulthood.
