House system

Ascot International School’s House System is part of what fosters a strong sense of community within the school. At Ascot, students, teachers and staff are put into four houses. During the 2021 – 2022 academic year, the school renamed our four house groups: Trojans, Aztecs, Vikings, and Titans. We asked the students to research and select Thai mythical creatures as new names for their houses. Each house chose what they felt represented their house spirit most. Students then designed logos appropriate for their new house names.

– Trojans became Phraya Insee (purple)

– Aztecs became Phraya Kochasarn (green)

– Vikings became Phraya Naga (blue)

– Titans became Phraya Rachasee (orange)

Throughout the year, students from each house can earn or demerit their house points through various actions and activities. House Colours Days are also opportunities for students to compete for House points. These points are added up and announced at the end of each school year. House systems allow students to bond across the years, learn from each other, and build a community.
