At Ascot International School, we’ve crafted our Winter Camp to offer the perfect mix of learning and adventure. The week is packed with exciting activities, creative projects, and thrilling field trips, ensuring there’s something for every child to enjoy. Whether your child loves art, is curious about nature, or seeks adventure, our Winter Camp provides plenty of opportunities to explore, learn, and grow—all in a fun, supportive environment. Winter Camp 2024 will take place from Monday, December 16th to Friday, December 20th, and is open to children from Early Years (EY) through to Year 6. We’ve designed the activities to be age-appropriate, so every child can enjoy a fun and meaningful experience.
For our younger campers, the focus will be on imaginative play, socializing, and creative exploration, helping them develop new skills while having fun. For the older campers, we’ll be diving into more interactive activities like outdoor adventures and hands-on learning, giving them a chance to explore and discover the world in exciting ways. No matter the age, there’s something special planned for everyone.
One of the highlights of Ascot’s Winter Camp is the special field trip on Thursday, December 19th. This day will be all about outdoor exploration, giving campers the chance to connect with nature and discover new things in a fun, hands-on way. The field trip is carefully planned to tie into the camp’s educational themes, so kids will keep learning while they enjoy the fresh air and adventure.
For children in EY to Year 2, the Winter Camp field trip will take them to the Safari Garden Playground & Café, a perfect spot for exploration, play, and nature-filled fun. The kids will have the opportunity to explore the playground, meet some friendly animals, and enjoy a day full of outdoor activities. With plenty of space to run and play, Safari Garden provides a safe and welcoming environment where little ones can have fun, build friendships, and develop important social and motor skills.
Children in Year 3 to Year 6 will enjoy an equally exciting field trip to James500 City Camp and City Farm. This venue offers older campers a chance to dive into farm life with hands-on activities that will make learning both fun and engaging. The day will be filled with interactive experiences that bring the world of farming to life. In addition to the farm activities, they’ll also take part in team-building games and outdoor exploration, making it a perfect mix of learning, adventure, and teamwork. It’s sure to be a memorable day for everyone!
