This year marks one of the proudest moments in the history of Ascot Football Academy (AFA). Following an outstanding victory in Thailand, our young footballers are now preparing to represent both Ascot International School and Thailand on the international stage in China.
Last month, AFA’s U13 and U14 teams achieved an incredible success by becoming Champions of the Thailand–China Elite 100 Tournament in Lopburi.
This remarkable victory earned both teams the honour of representing Thailand at the Green Pitch Young Talents Cup 2026 in Mianyang, Sichuan, China. The tournament welcomes talented young football players from across China and many other countries, giving our students the opportunity to compete at an international level.
For our players, this is much more than another football competition. It is the chance to experience different cultures, compete against strong international teams, and proudly wear the colours of Thailand.
Great achievements never happen by chance. Behind every success are weeks, months, and years of commitment.
Over the past three weeks, our U13 and U14 players have worked hard through the AFA Summer Football Training Programme. Every training session has focused on improving technical ability, tactical understanding, physical fitness, teamwork, and mental strength.
The players have shown determination, discipline, and a positive attitude throughout their preparation. They understand that representing their school and their country is both an honour and a responsibility.
These experiences help students develop important life skills that will benefit them far beyond the football field.
