Every young athlete dreams of representing their country. This year, that dream became a reality for Ascot Football Academy (AFA).
Following their outstanding victory at the Thailand–China Elite 100 Tournament in Lopburi, our U13 and U14 teams earned the honour of representing Thailand at the prestigious Green Pitch Young Talents Cup 2026 in Mianyang, Sichuan, China.
Competing against talented teams from across China, our players showed exceptional football skills, teamwork, discipline, and resilience. Their performances resulted in one of the greatest achievements in the history of Ascot Football Academy and an unforgettable moment for the entire Ascot International School community.
Playing in an international tournament is about much more than winning football matches. It is an opportunity for young athletes to experience different cultures, compete against high-level opponents, and grow as confident, respectful, and resilient individuals.
Throughout the tournament, our players proudly wore both the Ascot badge and the Thailand badge. Every match demonstrated their commitment, determination, and sportsmanship while representing their school and country with pride.

Both Ascot teams delivered an exceptional series of performances throughout the competition.
The U14 squad displayed outstanding attacking football while remaining organised in defence. Their consistency and teamwork allowed them to dominate every stage of the tournament.
The U13 team impressed everyone with their energy, technical ability, and determination. They showed that hard work and belief can lead to outstanding results on the international stage.
One of the most memorable moments of the tournament came after both Ascot teams finished as champions of their respective groups.
Instead of facing another club, the championship match became an unforgettable Super Final between our own U14 and U13 teams.

While the U14 team secured the Super Championship title, the result was a victory for every member of Ascot Football Academy.
Before the final whistle even blew, everyone already knew one thing—the championship trophy was returning home to Thailand.
This remarkable achievement demonstrates the strength of the football programme at Ascot International School and the quality of coaching provided through Ascot Football Academy.
The tournament also recognised the outstanding contributions of two members of the AFA family.
Brio was named Player of the Tournament after delivering exceptional performances throughout the competition. His leadership, technical ability, and consistency made him one of the standout players of the entire event.
Coach Felipe Amaral received the Coach of the Tournament award in recognition of his outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to developing young footballers.
These awards reflect the hard work that happens every day during training and demonstrate the positive impact that excellent coaching has on student-athletes.
While lifting trophies is an incredible achievement, the greatest success of this tournament goes far beyond the final scores.
