Songkran Summer Celebration
Date: Friday, 3 April 2026 (Final Day of Term 2.2)
Event Overview:
The Songkran Summer Celebration is divided into three main parts:
Morning Alms Giving (7:00–7:30 am)
Traditional food offering to monks to receive blessings for the Thai New Year. All members of the Ascot family are welcome to join.
Auditorium Celebration (8:00–9:30 am)
Student performances followed by the Rod Nam Dam Hua ceremony, where students respectfully pour water over elders’ hands to seek blessings for the new year.
Student Water Play Activities (After Auditorium Programme)
Organised in separate sessions:
Morning PY: Year 1–3 and Year 4–6
Afternoon SY: Year 7–9 and Year 10–13
