At Ascot International School, we understand that a balanced diet is just as important as a strong curriculum. For children in their early years (Pre-Nursery to EY3), good nutrition supports growth, concentration, and emotional well-being. Every meal is designed to give students the right mix of energy and nutrients to help them learn and play with confidence.
Our menus combine Asian and Western dishes, offering children familiar flavours while introducing them to new tastes. From pasta with chicken and vegetables to Thai noodle soups and fresh fruit with milk, each meal is carefully prepared to provide protein, healthy carbohydrates, and essential vitamins. A daily salad bar ensures students get enough fibre, while afternoon milk and fruit snacks help maintain steady energy levels throughout the day.
Nutrition is also part of our broader focus on well-being. By teaching healthy habits early, we encourage children to make positive choices that support their long-term development. This aligns with our vision of holistic education, where every student grows academically, socially, and physically.
When students eat well, they are more focused, engaged, and ready to learn. At Ascot, meals are more than food—they are a foundation for lifelong health, resilience, and success.
As children grow into their primary and secondary school years, their bodies and minds need balanced nutrition to stay active, focused, and healthy. At Ascot International School, our menus for Years 1–13 are designed to give students the right mix of protein, complex carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals that support both learning and physical development.
Students enjoy a wide variety of Asian and Western meals, from pasta, grilled chicken, and seafood fried rice to Thai curries, soups, and noodle dishes. Each day, a fresh salad bar and seasonal fruit are available, ensuring that every student receives essential fibre and vitamins. Snacks such as yogurt, sandwiches, and milk help maintain steady energy throughout the day
A healthy diet plays a direct role in academic success. Proper nutrition helps students stay alert in class, improves memory, and supports emotional well-being. By combining international flavours with nutritious choices, we encourage young learners to build healthy eating habits that last a lifetime.
At Ascot, meals are more than just food, they are part of a holistic education that nurtures body, mind, and community.
