Student Spotlight: Celebrating Outstanding Achievements at Ascot International School At Ascot International School, we are proud to celebrate the outstanding

What a wonderful year it has been for our Little Lions Playgroup families at Ascot International School. Throughout the 2025–26 academic year, our youngest learners enjoyed many joyful experiences filled with play, creativity, discovery, and friendship.
Every Playgroup session gave children opportunities to explore the world around them in a warm and supportive environment. Through play-based activities, children could learn at their own pace, try new experiences, and enjoy special moments together with their parents and other families.

Play is an important part of early childhood development. At Little Lions Playgroup, children learned through a wide variety of fun and engaging activities designed to encourage natural curiosity.
Throughout the year, our Little Lions enjoyed sensory play, storytelling, music, movement, creative arts, and hands-on activities. These experiences allowed children to explore different colours, sounds, textures, movements, and ideas while having fun.
Each activity encouraged children to discover something new and become more comfortable with the world around them.
As the year continued, it was wonderful to see our youngest learners becoming more confident and independent.
Some children became more comfortable exploring new activities, while others began expressing their ideas, making choices, and trying new things by themselves. These small steps are an important part of early childhood development and help prepare children for future learning experiences.
At Ascot International School, we believe that young children learn best when they feel safe, happy, supported, and free to explore.
Playgroup is also a special place for children to begin developing early social skills. Through playing, singing, moving, and creating together, children had opportunities to interact with others and become part of a friendly community.
They learned to share spaces, join group activities, communicate with others, and make new friends. These experiences help children develop important skills that support their social and emotional growth.
Every smile, shared activity, and new friendship became part of the happy memories created throughout the year.
Creative activities played an important role in our Playgroup sessions. Through art, music, singing, and movement, children had many opportunities to express themselves in different ways.
These activities encouraged imagination and curiosity while helping children develop coordination, communication, and confidence. Whether creating artwork, enjoying a song, moving to music, or exploring new materials, every experience supported learning through joy and discovery.
Little Lions Playgroup is not only about learning for children. It is also a special opportunity for parents to spend quality time with their children and become part of the Ascot community.
Throughout the year, families shared many happy moments together while watching their children explore, grow, and build confidence. This connection between children, parents, and the school helps create a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone.

From Term 2 to the final adventures of Term 3, every session brought new discoveries, laughter, creativity, and friendship. We are proud of all our Little Lions and the progress they have made throughout the year.
Thank you to every family who joined our Playgroup community and made the 2025–26 academic year so special. Your smiles, energy, and participation helped create many wonderful memories.
We look forward to welcoming our Little Lions and their families back for another year of learning, play, friendship, and exciting new adventures at Ascot International School.
See you next year at Little Lions Playgroup!
