Graduation is more than the end of Primary School. It is a celebration of every challenge overcome, every friendship built, and every achievement earned along the way.
At Ascot International School, we proudly celebrated our Year 6 Graduation Ceremony 2026, recognising an important milestone in our students’ learning journey. Families, teachers, and classmates came together to celebrate the remarkable growth of our graduates as they prepare to begin an exciting new chapter in Secondary School.
The ceremony was filled with smiles, proud moments, and heartfelt reflections. Looking around the room, it was clear how much our students have grown—not only in their academic learning but also in their confidence, character, and willingness to make a positive difference.
As an IB World School, Ascot believes that education is about developing the whole child. Throughout their Primary Years, our students have learned to think independently, ask meaningful questions, collaborate with others, and take responsibility for their learning. Graduation is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate these achievements and look ahead with excitement.

The Year 6 Graduation Ceremony celebrated much more than academic success. It recognised the many experiences that helped students grow into confident and capable young people.
Throughout the year, students embraced a wide range of opportunities, including leadership roles, student action projects, sports competitions, performances, community service, and collaborative learning experiences. Each activity encouraged them to develop confidence, responsibility, teamwork, and resilience.
One of the biggest highlights of the Primary Years was the Primary Years Programme Exhibition (PYP Exhibition). During this important project, students explored real-world issues through inquiry, research, collaboration, and action. They demonstrated independence, critical thinking, communication, and creativity while sharing their learning with the school community.
These experiences reflect Ascot’s commitment to providing meaningful learning that prepares students for success both inside and outside the classroom. By encouraging students to take ownership of their learning, we help them become curious, reflective, and lifelong learners.
One of the greatest achievements of our Year 6 graduates is the personal growth they have shown throughout their Primary education.
Over the years, students have developed many of the IB Learner Profile attributes. They have become more caring, open-minded, principled, balanced, and reflective while learning to communicate confidently and solve problems independently.
Beyond the classroom, they have built strong friendships, supported one another during challenges, and celebrated each other’s successes. These experiences have helped students become compassionate young people who understand the importance of kindness, respect, and contributing positively to their community.
At Ascot International School, we believe these personal qualities are just as important as academic achievement because they prepare students for future learning and for life beyond school.
Moving from Primary to Secondary School is an exciting milestone, and our Year 6 graduates are well prepared for what comes next.
They leave Primary School with strong learning habits, growing independence, and the confidence to embrace new opportunities. The curiosity, resilience, and problem-solving skills they have developed will continue to support them as they explore new subjects, build new friendships, and take on greater responsibilities.
Although we will miss seeing our Year 6 students in the Primary corridors, we are excited to watch them continue their journey and achieve even greater success in Secondary School.
Congratulations to the Year 6 Class of 2026. We are incredibly proud of everything you have accomplished. Keep believing in yourselves, continue to dream big, and enjoy every opportunity that lies ahead. Your next adventure is only just beginning.
